'AM Radio with Carrying Strap'
Toy manufacturer Playtime Products, Inc. created a number of electronic products for Tonka's Gobots toy line.
While most of the Playtime Gobots offerings involved robot toys or at the very least robot shaped items this falls heavily into the put a sticker on an existing product and sell it as something new category.
Seemingly unremarkable it is very of the time and there's something charming about its minimalistic design.

Gobots US Playtime 1985
Unit requires a 9 volt battery to operate.
While not yet sighted, a Canadian French/English packaging version was also likely released unless it conflicted with regional radio frequency product regulations.
