Illco created a number of non-action figure products for the Gobots toy line including these three 3D Puzzles.
The Gobots puzzles were added to the Illco 'Pre-School Puzzle' range that also includes other era popular characters from The Smurfs, Pound Puppies, Gummi Bears, Shirt Tails, Rainbow Brite and so on.
While not specifically character named, it's fairly obvious they're modelled on Dozer, Fitor and Leader-1. The hollow plastic pieces are sturdy and they come in a shaped plastic, card backed tray.
While some Illco Gobots release were rebranded Robo Machine for the European market, so far examples of the 3D Puzzles haven't been sighted.
The puzzles are simple, bright and targeted at a younger audience.

Each puzzle has the same box including the printed barcode.
The three puzzles were featured in a direct to retailers catalogue (see bottom of page) that show Leader-1 with more character true grey parts and Dozer with red legs. Both have different stickers. At time of writing (2026) these versions have not bee sighted and are likely prototype / near release colour samples.
