'Changeable Robot' LCD Digital Watch
It seemed every prolific robots that change into stuff toy line had at least one LCD digital watch robot and Zybots were no exception.
While the watch to robot change is simple and the functions are bare bones it excels over most others with the inclusion of a double spring loaded catch holding the watch to the band. For added protection the location for the watch is well recessed adding further knock and dislodgment protection.
Rather than aim for Takara's fine sculpt detail or small form offered by the Gobots watches, Remco produced a solid, minimalistic design for something intended to be worn by children. With that consideration alone, as a product it's a success.
