'The robot that does everything plus your homework!'
Known by many names, the 'Stationerobot' is a bootleg of Gakken's Japanese 'Gakken's Boy Series' and Western 'School Robot' toy line.
Surprisingly, it does something that most vintage unlicensed toys don't and that's be arguably better than the originals. Not only does it combine all three stationery gimmicks offered in the Gakken robots into one toy, the pencil sharpener is also removable for easy cleaning. Stationerobot also comes with a chromed sword that is advertised can be used as a tiny letter opener.
It's so good that if it were discovered Stationerobot had been designed by Gakken for release as a deluxe toy in the official lines but it was abandoned and later bootlegged it would make a lot of sense.
The design and build quality is good on all releases sighted so far and most kids who had these bought for them wouldn't have had felt it was a substandard product. They were released seemingly in more parts of the world than the official toys with even Galgo taking a swing at them in Argentina and as always offering some great card art.
