Solitaire - Rock Lords

Diaman - Ganseki Chōjin - 'A stone that shines with righteousness transforms into a glittering brave man crushing evil'

Solitaire was added to the Rock Lords toy line as part of the Jewel Lords assortment and featured prominently in the Battle of the Rock Lords movie.

The front of the Gobots blister card has the character name printed, 'Solitare' while the rear and front of all other Western distributions show, 'Solitaire'. Solitaire is also how the name is shown in the Gobots: Battle of the Rock Lords cartoon.

The original Japanese version, 'Diaman' was male and continued to be portrayed this way in the Machine Robo Revenge of Cronos anime. It was only Western releases where pink lips were added to the toy and the character was represented as female.

Gobots Packaging 'Leader: Queen of the Jewel Lords - Jewel Lords did not have a bio card.'

Japanese Packaging Practical Translation Highly intelligent and courageous leader of the superhman jewel men. He crushes enemies in an instant with his. His weakness is extreme heat with the risk of burns and becoming charcoal.

Robo Machine Packaging
All three Jewel Lords boxes are printed with a different, shared background blurb to all other Series 1, 2 and 3 figures. 'Solitaire is Queen of the Kingdom of Jewels. She and her cohorts - Sunstone and Flamestone are brave, super intelligent and loyal allies to Boulder and the rest of the Good Rock Lords in the continuing battle with the Evil Rock Lords.'

Solitaire was not released in Australia for the Machine Men toy line.
