Rock Lords artwork to colour on heavy paper. While tracing as a childhood activity has lost popularity, it provided excellent fine motor skill and attention to detail training for budding artisits.
Golden released licensed doing books for many popular character toy and comic lines, often featuring a mix of new and re-used art in varying competencies.
Two United States editions were distributed; a standard and coloring competition version. The latter appears to be by far the more prevalent and likely in response to poor sales. So much so that the book was reprinted with a modified cover to accomodate the starburst advertising the promotion vs. simply adding a sticker to the original art. An extra competition details page was also added.
At this time a matching French/English Canadian release or a Robo Machine European version has not been sighted.
