Gammasite is largely of snap-together construction. It looks as if it was designed to look interesting, however in execution ended up awkward and frustrating.
It's very likely this is one of the models California R&D were not happy with Matchbox's final manufacture of. It's difficult to make look good in either form and way too easy to accidentally pull the arms (that attach at the waist) off during display posing or normal play.
In its defense it was always going to be difficult to fit a decent sized robot into a 1/65 scale car shell and it does fold up well. There's just nothing to lock any parts into place so it's more than a little random each time.
Condition: All examples are freshly removed from card. Diecast and chrome damage are the result of sub-par manufacturing and packing processes.
